European Day of Jewish Culture

The European Day of Jewish Culture is an annual event that always takes place on the first Sunday in September. Its main focus is to make the history and culture of European Judaism known to a much broader audience. Throughout Europe and in different areas of Germany, synagogues, cemeteries, memorial sites and museums will be open to the public on the first Sunday in September.

The European Day of Jewish Culture is being coordinated by the European Association for the Preservation and Promotion of Jewish Culture and Heritage. It is being organised by B'nai B'rith Europe, the European Council of Jewish Communities and Red de Juderias de España - Caminos de Sefarad (Network of Jewish Cities in Spain - Migration paths of the Sephardi Jews).
